Day 1

Arrive in Vancouver

Land in Vancouver and make your way independently to your accommodation. Recuperate after your travels before meeting your Tour Leader and fellow travellers at the Welcome Reception.

Day 2

Vancouver - Campbell River (107 miles)

Catch a scenic ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo, then drive along the picturesque Oceanside Route to Campbell River. Visit the local museum, which respectfully honors the history and culture of the First Nations people of North Vancouver Island. After exploring the exhibits, join an optional group dinner to reflect.

Day 3

Campbell River - Port Hardy (162 miles)

Travel to Port Hardy at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, enjoying stunning coastal views and lush forests. Stop in the quirky town of Telegraph Cove, a historic whale-watching hub. Enjoy free time for lunch and optional activities like whale watching, kayaking, hiking, or exploring the boardwalk before arriving in Port Hardy.

Day 4

Port Hardy

Today, visit Alert Bay to see the World’s Tallest Totem and the 'Umista Cultural Centre, dedicated to preserving Kwakwa_ka_’wakw heritage. Start with free time in Port McNeill, then take the ferry to Alert Bay. Afterward, return to Port McNeill for optional activities before heading back to Port Hardy in the evening.

Port Hardy - Prince Rupert

Embark on a ferry journey through the iconic Inside Passage, where glacial fjords offer breathtaking views and serve as a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, including orcas and porpoises. Though the ride is long, it’s a relaxing experience—perfect for enjoying the scenery, reading, or dining at onboard restaurants. Arrive in Prince Rupert late in the evening.

Day 6

Prince Rupert - Smithers (217 miles)

Drive one of the world’s most scenic routes from Prince Rupert to Smithers, taking in the stunning landscapes. Smithers - Prince George (230 miles)
