"We chose the BEST OF JUNEAU excursion which included WHALE WATCHING, MENDENHALL GLACIER & ORCA POINT LODGE MEAL. The waterfall at Mendenhall is just as spectacular as the glacier itself and well worth the 20 minute or so ‘hike’ (easy walk)! The whale watching itself was spectacular, we saw so many humpback whales and the nature guide was very knowledgeable, able to point out individual animals and give us some back story on each one, which made the experience feel more personal. Orca Point itself is a really beautiful little island, and you feel like you’re deep in the wilderness."
