Overview

A working guest ranch south of Calgary on the edge of the Canadian Rockies, close to Waterton Lakes National Park. The comfortable lodge, an impressive log structure, sleeps a maxium of 14 people, and the traditional lounge and dining areas are complete with comfortable seating areas and wood-burning fireplaces. You can enjoy wonderful horseriding experiences here, taking you out into the beautiful Alberta countryside beneath wide open skies. There are three thousand acres to explore, with glorious views and space to enjoy the peace and solitude, plus an indoor pool to enjoy.

You can either stay at the ranch for an single night including lunch and dinner, or book a three, four or five night package which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a 90-minute horseriding experience (2 days on the 3 night package, 3 days on the 4 night package and 4 days on the 5 night package). Please note that the minimum age for horseriding is 8 years old.

Set in 3,000 acres in southern Alberta. Two and a half hours drive south of Calgary, the nearest twon is Pincher Creek 18 miles away. Waterton Lakes National Park is just 26 miles away.

 

Creekside Suite
900 sq.feet -  2 bedrooms with large windows, 1 king & 1 queen beds, shared private ensuite with walk-in shower, separate toilet, double vanity, sitting area with comfortable chairs. Maximum 4 guests.

Juniper Suite
760 sq. feet - 1 bedroom with king bed, large windows, spacious ensuite with walk-in shower, double vanity, sitting area with a gas fireplace. Maximum 2 guests.

Hillside Suite
900 sq. feet - 2 bedroom, 1 king & 1 queen beds, shared private ensuite with walk-in shower, separated water closet, double vanity, sitting area with   comfortable chairs. Maximum 4 guests.

Alpine Loft Suite
800 sq. feet stand-alone private loft suite 1 king & 2 twin beds, grand windows with views, large sitting area, and private bathroom. Maximum 4 people.

 

Notes for horseriding:

  • Minimum age for horseriding is 8 years old
  • Footwear should be shoes or boots with at least a one-inch heel - riding boots are great, but dress boots or even rubber boots will work as long as they have a 1-inch heel)
  • Jeans or long trousers are a must
  • Long sleeve shirt is preferable (for riding through the trees)
  • Dress in layers for warmth and be prepared for rain with a waterproof jacket
