Day 1
Fly to Toronto
Arrive at Toronto Pearson International Airport and transfer independently to your hotel (the UP train is a quick and easy way to do this). You will be spoilt for choice of where to eat, with Toronto being possibly the most culturally diverse city in the world. Eat fresh pasta in Little Italy, dim sum in Chinatown or Shwarmas in Greektown. Although perhaps on your first night you'll be happy with a burger near your hotel and there's plenty of options within walking distance.
Overnight: Chelsea Hotel Toronto
Days 2 & 3
Toronto
A day to explore this appealing city, described as “New York City run by the Swiss” – meaning that you get the world-class shopping and restaurants but with clean streets and friendly people. Start at the top, with a trip up the CN Tower – the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere. Then perhaps take a bike tour around the downtown. Family friendly attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium and a must for sports fans is the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Day 8
Blue Mountains – Niagara Falls (154 miles)
A highlight of this holiday will be surely be the first sight of Niagara Falls. Consisting of three waterfalls that straddle the border of Canada and the United States, they form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world with a vertical drop of 165 feet. Check into your hotel and then spend the afternoon exploring - go to the top of the Skylon Tower for a birds eye view or take the Journey Behind the Falls for a unique experience. The resort of Niagara Falls is akin to Orlando, so don’t expect a pretty town…however what it lacks in aesthetic appeal it more than makes up for in attractions, activities and restaurants of all types.

Day 9
Niagara Falls
We’re sure you’re going to want to take the Hornblower Cruise to the foot of the falls, so it’ll be worth getting up early to miss the crowds. Then in the afternoon, how about taking a Niagara River Jet Boat Tour. You’ll travel through the breatktaking 50 metre high canyon of Niagara Gorge, then hang on as the boat splashes into Devil’s Hole Rapids and through the famous Whirlpool Rapids. You can choose between the Jet Dome tour where you’re covered over or the Wet Jet tour…which is self-explanatory and you’ll need to take a complete change of clothes!

Niagara Falls
A final day to enjoy the attractions of Niagara Falls. You could take the short drive to the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake to browse the quaint streets and perhaps the adults can enjoy some wine tasting - there are plenty of wine bars and cafes to choose from. Alternatively you might want to drive back to Toronto today and have an additional day in the city to do some last minute shopping. You could head to Yonge Street which is somewhat dauntingly the longest street in the world, but you will find a most impressive selection of shops and malls.
