Ottawa and Montreal

6 nights from £1,599 per person Including Flights

Overview

Enjoy this great twin-centre holiday to experience two of Canada’s most interesting cities – Ottawa and Montreal. It’s just a short direct flight to eastern Canada  and you’ll travel between the two cities by Via Rail business class, allowing you to relax and enjoy the view.

The two cities may be close geographically, but they provide an array of wonderful contrasts.  You’ll begin in French-speaking Montreal in the province of Quebec. Here you can immerse yourself in this city where French influences abound resulting in delicious cuisine and a sophisticated atmosphere. Stroll the streets of the old town, browsing the quirky boutiques and pausing in one of the many cafes. There is a thriving performing arts scene in Montreal, and culture vultures can enjoy music and art in a wide variety of forms.

Then you’ll board the train at Gare Centrale just a short taxi ride away from your hotel, and enjoy the comfortable VIA Rail service with spacious seats, free WiFi, and a complimentary food and beverage service.

We will tailormake this holiday to suit you – if you’d like more time in either city or would like to add-on a another city in either Canada or the USA, just chat to one of our travel consultants. You could also reverse the itinerary, starting in Ottawa and ending in Monteal. We also offer this great rail holiday if you’d like to see more of Ontario by train - Explore Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa and the Thousand Islands by Rail
