Day 1
Fly to Toronto
On arrival into Toronto airport, take the UP Express train from the terminal to Union Street Station. From here take a short cab ride to your hotel. We suggest the Chelsea Hotel, but if you choose the Fairmont Royal York or Delta Toronto then you can simply cross the road to check in.

Day 2
Toronto
A full day to explore Toronto and a great place to start is the top of the CN Tower where you can have a birds-eye view of the city and Lake Ontario, and you might choose to enjoy lunch in the 360 degree revolving restaurant. In the afternoon, you can choose to take a cruise around Toronto harbour and the islands and enjoy wonderful views of the city skyline. We can book these excursions for you (and more) for an extra charge.
Day 3
Toronto
Another day to enjoy the city at your leisure. You may want to visit the Ice Hockey Hall of Fame or enjoy some shopping along Robson Street. Perhaps take an afternoon stroll to the Distillery District to browse its independent boutiques and galleries, followed by a drink in a cool bar, followed by dinner in one of the great restaurants in this neighbourhood.
Day 4
Day trip to Niagara Falls
Today is a full day trip to Niagara Falls and the surrounding region and you’ll be picked up by coach from your hotel in the morning. On arrival you will have chance to view the vast waterfalls and get those all-important photos, and then you’ll board a cruise to get up close to the falls themselves. Next you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the Fallsview Restaurant overlooking the Falls. Later in the afternoon you’ll be taken to “Canada’s Prettiest Town” – Niagara on the Lake – where you’ll have free time to explore the lovely boutiques and perhaps try out some of the local wine in one of the many winery tasting rooms (extra charge).
Day 5
Toronto to Ottawa
In the morning make your way to Union Station to board your train to Ottawa which takes just over four hours. Standard class is included in this holiday which has comfy seats and free wifi, but remember to buy your lunch at the station before you depart (there’s plenty of great food stalls to choose from). Or we can upgrade you to business class, where you’ll have complimentary food and beverages. The route takes you along Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River, before heading inland to Ottawa and the station in Tramblay Road. Take the 10 minute taxi ride (not included) to your chosen hotel and enjoy an evening in Downtown Ottawa.

Day 6
Ottawa
Ottawa is one of our favourite Canadian cities and there is so much to do here, with a vast array of museums and galleries, shopping districts and riverside parks. We can book you onto a hop-on hop-off bus tour, guided bike ride or a walking tour and pre-book you entry tickets into the museums (extra charge).
Day 7
Ottawa
Today we suggest you take a cruise in and around the city (at a supplement), and you can choose between the Rideau Canal or the Ottawa River, both taking an hour and a half. Either glide along the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in an electric passenger vessel. Or cruise the Ottawa River and enjoy views of Parliament Hill and the Prime Minister’s Residence.
Day 8
Ottawa to Kingston
Make your way to the station and board your train to Kingston which will take around two hours.
One of Canada’s oldest city’s, Kingston was established in 1673 and was once used as a French trading post. It’s a very walkable city, where hidden alleyways contain antique markets and restaurant patios, and there are dozens of museums and historic sites.

Day 9
Kingston
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring more of this charming city, and then stroll to Crawford Dock where you will board your cruise boat for a tour of the beautiful Thousand Islands. Sit back and admire the lovely scenery as the boat meanders by the small cottage islands and grand estates built by the wealthy Ontarians.
Enjoy a final evening in Kingston Ontario and you might want us to book you onto guiding walking Ghost Tour of the old town which runs every evening from 8pm (extra charge).
Day 10
Kingston to Toronto - fly home
After breakfast take the train back to Toronto and the airport for your flight home.
