Overview

Discover two sides to Ontario with this wonderful seven-night twin centre. Great for couples and also for families, this trip fuses the excitement of Toronto’s city lifestyle with the quieter, slow-paced ambience of Elmhirst’s Resort.

You’ll begin with three nights in Toronto, enjoying Chelsea Hotel’s great location giving easy acces to the city's iconic attractions including the CN Tower, the Ice Hockey Hall of Fame, lively neighbourhoods such as the Distillery District and the majestic splendour of Lake Ontario. Then it’s just a short hour and a half drive out of the city to Ontario’s beautiful countryside, staying at the utterly charming Elmhirst’s Resort for four nights. This family-run working farm offers welcoming cottages, farm-to-table cuisine, and great outdoor pursuits.

You could also add on a trip to Niagara Falls, which we would thoroughly recommend. Either do this as a day trip from Toronto (you can either drive, take the train or book a coach transfer) or stay over for a night or two. (Tailormade)

Days 1-3

Toronto

Begin your twin centre in Toronto, with three nights at Chelsea Hotel. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, this family-friendly resort is close by to fantastic shops, Canon Theatre, and Toronto Police Museum, as well as offering its own great facilities including a waterslide, an adult-only pool, and a vibrant family fun zone. There’s plenty for you to see and do whilst spending time in Toronto. Discover the CN Tower for an epic view of the city’s skyline, enjoy great theatre and equally as tempting food and drink in the Distillery District, visit Toronto Zoo, or explore museums rich in history.

If you've not been to Niagara Falls then now is your chance. You could either take a day trip from Toronto (which we can book for you) or drive there and stay overnight for the full Falls experience.

Days 4-7

Elmhirst’s Resort

On day four, you’ll pick up your hire car and journey to Elmhirst’s Resort, a gorgeous escape just an hour and a half drive from Toronto. This is your chance to leave the liveliness of the city behind, and enjoy a quieter taste of Ontario for four nights.

A working farm with their own animals and produce on-site, Elmhirst’s Resort has a wonderful homely ambience, made even better by the family’s beaming hospitality and gorgeous farm-to-table cuisine. Take a scenic ride on their private seaplane, relish days spent in your cosy cottage on Rice Lake, enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, or perhaps experience some fantastic water sports – including kayak lessons, water tubing and paddle boarding.

Day 8

Fly home

Today marks the end of your trip. Return your hire car and head to Toronto International Airport for your onwards flight.
