Day 1

New York City

Arrive in New York City and transfer independently to your hotel to check-in and unwind. The rest of the day can be spent exploring the city, perhaps with a spot of shopping and a classic street-vendor hot dog. Then head back to the hotel for a welcome reception with your tour guide and group.

Day 2

New York – Philadelphia – Washington, D.C.

Take an orientation tour of the Big Apple this morning, with a view of the Empire State Building, Times Square and the beautiful Central Park. From here, make your way to the City of Brotherly Love – Philadelphia – to visit the Liberty Bell Centre and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. End the day in Washington, D.C. for dinner in the capital.

Day 3

Washington, D.C.

Today will be spent exploring the nation’s capital with a Washington D.C City Tour. Pass the White House, the U.S. Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, and the World War II and the Vietnam War memorials. Visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The rest of the day is left for you to explore at your own pace, perhaps with a visit to one of the fascinating museums or galleries, or with a stroll around Dupont Circle.

Day 4

Washington, D.C. – Lancaster County/Amish Country

Take a step back in time with a local specialist as you explore the rural roads of Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County where you’ll learn about the traditional agricultural lifestyle of the Amish and the Mennonites. You’ll arrive at your hotel which is a historic preservation in the heart of Amish Country where you’ll dine on a hearty dinner before practicing making whoopie pies for your dessert.

Day 5

Lancaster County – Niagara Falls

Leave Lancaster County this morning and make your way across Pennsylvania to the eastern corner of New York stopping en-route at the Corning Museum of Glass where you can admire the art of glassblowing. Continue on to crossing into Canada to the majestic Niagara Falls.

Day 6

Niagara Falls

After admiring the panoramic views of the falls, take a boat ride to the base of the beautiful Horseshoe Falls for incredible views up close to this amazing attraction. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time before travelling to Niagara-on-the-Lake where you’ll visit a family-owned winery in the evening for an exclusive tour and a sampling of the produce. Dinner with be served afterwards with stunning views of the vineyard.

Day 7

Niagara Falls – Toronto

Stopping in Oakville today, where you will learn the art of playing ice hockey like a real Canadian hockey player at an ice hockey stadium with behind the scenes tour through the dressing rooms and get a chance to put on the full gear. Then it's on to Toronto where you'll have time to explore on your own and really make the most of this city’s many attractions, including the CN Tower.

Day 8

Toronto – Ottawa

Journey to Ottawa and embark on a tour of the city, including the elegant buildings of Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, and the downtown museums and galleries that make this city such a fun and cultural place to explore.

Day 9

Ottawa – Quebec City

Say goodbye to Ottawa this morning and set off for the charming Quebec City and Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the western hemisphere’s only walled city north of Mexico. Enjoy lunch at a local sugar shack where you'll be able to satisfy even the sweetest tooth. From the cute bistros and cafés to the cobbled streets and elegant boutiques, this city has an Old European feel to it that visitors adore.

Day 10

Quebec City

Today will be spent exploring the winding cobblestone streets of Quebec City with your local guide, learning more about the French and English military past of the city and of the past colonial battles that took place here. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to visit a gallery, go shopping or take a carriage ride through the beautiful city.

Day 11

Quebec City – Montreal

Depart from Quebec City and journey towards Montreal, stopping at a local farmers market to savour a delicious lunch including wine and cider. Later you'll arrive into Montreal and meet your local specialist who will introduce you to the delights of the city, from the picturesque Notre-Dame Basilica to the Plaza Jacques-Cartier, the epicentre of the old city.

Day 12

Montreal – Franconia Notch – Boston

Cross back into the United States to traverse New Hampshire on your way to Franconia Notch which sits in the heart of the beautiful White Mountains area. Journey through the forests of sugar maple and white birch, keeping a lookout for amazing sightings of black bears, moose or deer which thrive here. Arrive in Boston later in the day and check-in at your hotel.

Overnight: Boston Park Plaza or similar. Breakfast included

Day 13

Boston

Today will be spent immersing yourself in the culture and history of Boston, beginning with a tour from the Old North Church to Boston Harbour – home of the famous Tea Party – and along the Freedom Trail. In the afternoon, continue your exploration of this charming city with some free time – perhaps head to the famous bar that inspired the TV show Cheer or visit the Public Gardens. In the evening, enjoy a delicious farewell dinner with your newfound friends.

Boston

The day is yours until it's time for your flight home, unless you want to extend your holiday and stay another night or two in Boston.
